Senior Data Engineer
Samuel Demir combines technical expertise with a personal passion for the craft of goldsmithing. After completing his A-levels in Computer Science, he pursued a dual study program at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering / Computer Science. He then deepened his knowledge with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science (Data Management). His particular interests lie in computer science, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. Today, Samuel develops complex data processes and optimizes technical systems as a Senior Data Engineer at AEW Energie AG. He also brings this experience to thelittlegoldsmith.ch, where he is responsible for the online shop’s technical development and its ongoing improvement, approaching both with care and personal commitment. For Samuel, thelittlegoldsmith.ch is a project close to his heart, dedicated to his father. It brings together his experience in mechanical engineering, data management, and software development with his wish to share traditional craftsmanship online. Through his work, he creates the technical foundation for a shop that reflects the care and quality of its jewelry throughout the online shopping experience.

Laura Franke currently works as a Medical Practice Assistant (MPA) at Skinmed Lenzburg. There, she combines empathy, organizational talent, and high precision – qualities she now brings into her new professional passion: the world of jewelry. Laura has always had a keen eye for aesthetics, design, and craftsmanship. She is excited to start a new chapter: entering the online jewelry business.
