By completing a purchase, the customer confirms that they have reviewed and fully read the T&Cs.

2) Data Collection

2.1 General

As the operator of the website, we collect data on access to the page and store these as “server log files”. TLG is entitled to use the transmitted personal data for various purposes, regardless of whether they originate from the customer or from third parties. 3) Use of Cookies

To make your visit to our TLG online shop attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. You can configure your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually whether to accept cookies, accept cookies in certain cases, or exclude them entirely. (If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be restricted.)

4) Social Media

We at TLG use small icons that each link to our social media presence on third-party platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Google+). These are hyperlinks, meaning that no data is automatically transferred. Data is only transferred once you click on the respective icon and a new tab opens in your browser linking to the third-party provider’s website.

4.1 Facebook

This website uses social plugins (“plugins”) of the Facebook social network, operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). The plugins are marked with a Facebook logo or the phrases “Social Plugin from Facebook” or “Facebook Social Plugin”. An overview of Facebook plugins and their appearance can be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins.

When you access a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the respective page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to a server of Facebook Inc. in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly assign the visit to our website to your Facebook profile. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “Like” button or posting a comment, this information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on your Facebook profile and displayed to your Facebook friends.

The described data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on Facebook’s legitimate interests in displaying personalized advertising, informing other users of the social network about your activities on our website, and providing a user-friendly design of the service. If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website directly to your Facebook profile, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You can also object to the loading of Facebook plugins — and thus the data processing procedures described above — for the future by using browser add-ons, e.g. the script blocker “NoScript” (http://noscript.net/). For further information on purpose and scope of data collection, processing and usage by Facebook, as well as your rights and settings to protect your privacy, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy:
https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

4.2 YouTube

The TLG online shop uses the YouTube embedding function to display and play videos from “YouTube”, which is part of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”). The extended privacy mode is used, which — according to the provider — starts storing user information only when playing video(s). When playback of embedded YouTube videos begins, YouTube uses cookies to collect information about user behavior. According to “YouTube”, these are used, among other purposes, to collect video statistics, improve user experience, and prevent abusive behavior. If you are logged into Google, your data will be directly associated with your account when you click a video. If you do not want the association with your YouTube profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even if you are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. Such evaluation is carried out according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on Google’s legitimate interests in displaying personalized advertising, market research, and/or the user-oriented design of its website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles — to exercise this right, please contact YouTube. In the context of using YouTube, personal data may also be transferred to Google LLC servers in the USA. Independently of playing the embedded videos, a connection to the Google network is established each time this website is accessed, which may trigger further data processing beyond our control. For more information on data protection at “YouTube”, please see the provider’s privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Where legally required, we have obtained your consent for the processing described above in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

5) Google Analytics

TLG uses the “Google Analytics” service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to analyze user behavior on the website. The service uses “cookies” — text files stored on your device. The information collected by the cookies is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. IP anonymization is activated on this website. The user’s IP address is shortened within member states of the EU and the European Economic Area. Due to this shortening, the personal reference of your IP address is eliminated. As part of the data processing agreement that the website operators have concluded with Google Inc., Google uses the collected information to evaluate website usage, website activity, and provide related internet services. You can prevent the storage of cookies on your device by adjusting your browser settings. However, if your browser does not allow cookies, it is not guaranteed that you can fully access all functions of this website without restrictions. More information on data usage by Google Inc. can be found here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

6) Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we use the necessary data — or data you provide separately — to send you our email newsletter regularly, in accordance with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time via your account area or by email. This can be done either by contacting info@thelittlegoldsmith.ch or via the unsubscribe link provided in the newsletter.

7) Your Rights

As a user and valued customer, you have the right — upon request — to receive free information about the personal data stored about you. Provided that your request does not conflict with a legal obligation to retain data (e.g. statutory retention), you have the right to correct incorrect data and to block or delete your personal data.

8) Online Marketing

8.1 Use of Google Ads Conversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising program “Google Ads” and, as part of Google Ads, conversion tracking by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”). We use Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites through advertising media (so-called Google AdWords). Based on campaign data, we can determine how successful each advertising measure is. Our aim is to show you advertising that is interesting for you, to make our website more enjoyable for you, and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on a Google-placed Ads advertisement. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. These cookies generally expire after 30 days and are not intended for personal identification. If a user visits specific pages of this website and the cookie has not expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked the ad and was redirected to that page. Every Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked across websites of Google Ads customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are informed of the total number of users who clicked their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can block this use by disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie in your browser under “User Settings”. You will then not be included in conversion tracking statistics. We use Google Ads based on our legitimate interests in targeted advertising pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. In the context of using Google Ads, personal data may also be transmitted to servers of Google LLC in the USA. Further information on Google’s privacy policy can be found here: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

You can permanently object to the use of cookies by Google Ads Conversion Tracking by downloading and installing the browser add-on provided under the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin?hl=de.

Please note that certain functions of this website may not be fully usable if the use of cookies is disabled. Where legally required, we have obtained your consent for the processing of your data described above in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your withdrawal, deactivate this service in the “Cookie-Consent-Tool” provided on the website or alternatively follow the objection method described above.

8.2 Google Marketing Platform

This website uses the online marketing tool Google Marketing Platform operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“GMP”). GMP uses cookies to display ads relevant to users, improve campaign performance reports, and prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Using a cookie ID, Google records which ads appear in which browser and can prevent them from being displayed more than once. The processing is carried out based on our legitimate interest in optimal marketing of our website pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Additionally, GMP can use cookie IDs to record conversions related to ad requests, such as when a user sees a GMP ad and later purchases something on the advertiser’s website using the same browser. According to Google, GMP cookies do not contain personal information. Due to the use of marketing tools, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to Google’s server. We have no influence over the scope or further processing of data collected through this tool by Google, and therefore inform you to the best of our knowledge: By integrating GMP, Google receives the information that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service, Google may associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered or logged in to Google, the provider may learn and store your IP address. In the context of using GMP, personal data may also be transmitted to Google LLC servers in the USA. If you want to object to participation in this tracking procedure, you can disable cookies for conversion tracking by configuring your browser to block cookies from the domain https://www.google.com (see https://www.google.de/settings/ads). However, this setting will be deleted if you disable cookies. You can also configure your browser to inform you when cookies are being set and decide individually whether to accept them, accept them in certain cases, or generally reject them. If cookies are rejected, the functionality of our website may be limited. Further information about GMP by Google can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/. Where legally required, we have obtained your consent for the processing described above pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of withdrawal, please follow the objection method described above.

9) Duration of Storage of Personal Data

The duration of storage of personal data is based on the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing, and — where applicable — the statutory retention period (e.g. commercial and tax-law retention obligations). When processing personal data based on explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, these data are stored until the data subject withdraws their consent. If statutory retention periods exist for data processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR in fulfilment of contractual or pre-contractual obligations, these data are routinely deleted after the retention periods expire, unless they are still required for contract fulfilment or initiation and/or there is no legitimate interest in further storage. When processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, data are stored until the data subject exercises their right to object pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, unless we can prove compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject or the processing serves the assertion, exercise, or defence of legal claims. When personal data is used for direct advertising based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, these data are stored until the data subject exercises their right to object pursuant to Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR. If no other information in this policy indicates otherwise regarding specific processing situations, stored personal data will be deleted when they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed.
